The Shooting Challenge is a free online bird hunting game that runs in your browser, on desktop or mobile. You play a real hunting program day by day, with doves, ducks and perdiz, the same birds you meet on a wingshooting trip in Argentina. No download, no sign-up.
Phone or tablet: touch and drag. The sight appears above your finger so you can see it, and the shot fires when you lift your finger.
End turn: press it twice to finish a round early. The two-tap rule avoids pressing it by accident.
How a round works
Choose a program. Each one is a real itinerary, split into half-day and full-day hunts.
Before each hunt you load boxes of 25 shells. This is a game: nothing is charged, and shells you do not fire do not matter. If you fire them all before the time ends, the round ends.
Every round lasts 40 seconds. Shoot as many birds as you can before the time runs out.
Your results show birds downed, shells fired, boxes used and accuracy, like a hunting log.
You carry two guns and swap every five shots, so keep an eye on the EMPTY and GUN indicators.
Shooting tips
Lead the bird. Shot takes a moment to travel, exactly as in real wingshooting. Aim ahead of the bird, in the direction it is flying.
Watch the feedback. Short hints such as AHEAD or LOW tell you how your last miss went.
Aim for the center of the pattern. A shot that connects with the middle of the spread gives a clean kill.
Expect surprises. Some birds turn back when they see you, others come straight at you and grow as they approach, and flocks scatter after a shot. New behaviors appear as the trip goes on.
Birds and scoring
Every bird counts as one, as in a real hunting log: your score is the number of birds you bring down.
Doves are the main target.
Parakeets are quick and evasive.
Pigeons are rare, so they are the prize of the round.
Hawks and lapwings are protected. Do not shoot them: the game will stop the shot.
Perdiz rounds
In a perdiz round a dog points. Tap the grass to flush a bird, then shoot as it bursts up low and fast. Sometimes two birds flush and fly off in opposite directions, so you have to choose.

Doves, 3 Days: a 4 day, 3 night high-volume dove program.
Mixed Bag, 5 Days: doves, ducks and perdiz from one lodge, 4 nights, May to August.
From the game to the real thing
The Shooting Challenge is made by AWS Lodge, a private wingshooting lodge in Entre Rios, about two hours by road from Buenos Aires, with no domestic flight. The programs in the game are based on the real ones. Hunting results are never guaranteed.
